I’d written a host of short stories, but my first novel ‘King’s Cross’ [genre: supernatural] came out in 2015. A year later it was followed by ‘The Shropshire Stalker’, a psychological thriller set in Ludlow and Shrewsbury, the idea for which came to me after a re-viewing of the film ‘Fatal Attraction’.
“Now that ‘I AM LUCY’ has been launched, I shall be fine-tuning the text of an adventure set in Cuba and Brazil, which deals with the subject of slavery, both historical – which resulted in the 1837 landmark legislation pioneered by William Wilberforce – and its 21st counterpart, now usually referred to as ‘people trafficking’. As recently as July 2016, the British government estimated that there may as many as 13,000 victims of modern slavery in Britain alone.
